Welcome Back to 2025 at Gawler & District College B-12!

Welcome to a brand-new school year! We hope you’ve all had a restful and joyful break, filled with wonderful memories with family and friends. As we step into 2025, we are excited to see familiar faces and welcome new students and families to our GDC community.

Our school is a place where curiosity, resilience, and kindness thrive. We look forward to working together to make this year one of growth, achievement, and connection. Whether it’s learning something new, making friends, or setting and smashing goals, there’s so much to look forward to!

To help you get ready, here are some key dates to keep in mind as Term 1 kicks off:

• Monday 20th January: Uniform Shop Open (by appointment)
• Wednesday 22nd January: Uniform Shop Open (walk-ins welcome)
• Monday 27th January: Australia Day Public Holiday
• Tuesday 28th January: First Day of School for Junior School, Year 7s, Year 12s, and DU Students
• Wednesday 29th January: First Day of School for Years 8 and 11
• Thursday 30th January: First Day of School for Years 9 and 10
• Tuesday 11th - Wednesday 12th February: School Photos
• Friday 7th March: Pupil Free Day
• Friday 11th April: Last Day of Term 1
